Fans of chain restaurants, strip malls, department stores, and everything in between will find all their heart desires and more out on Scenic Highway, the straight-line drag running due south out of Lawrenceville. While the name may conjure bucolic visions of rolling pastures and peaceful country vistas, don't expect any of those when you cruise down Scenic. The trek from Lawrenceville to Snellville will take you anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 hours depending on traffic, so time your visit during rush hour to allow yourself ample time to appreciate the scenery.
