Today's Grave Matters profile features our favorite Gwinnett graveyard, the historic Old Lawrenceville Cemetery, an ancient wedge of ground in the triangular space created by East Pike, Benson, and Corbin Streets just off the DTL square. This cemetery is the final resting place for some of Gwinnett's early settlers as well as Revolutionary and Confederate veterans, and is truly a treat for the cemetery connoisseur. It's got everything your heart could desire - broken tombs, sunken graves, weathered headstones, creepy trees - all the hallmarks of a classic old graveyard, so keep scrolling for more views of the historic grounds.

Keep it classy, Gwinnett. This is not a political forum, nor is it place for intolerance or crude behavior of any sort. We are all in this together, so just enjoy the ride.
