PSA: How to Have Fun and Stay Safe on Lake Lanier

Warmer weather is just around the corner, and that means many Gwinnetians will be heading out to Lake Lanier. Here are some pro-tips for a good day on the water.

1. Keep a Ouija board on your boat. This will allow you to communicate with the numerous ghosts known to inhabit the lake.

2. Not all of the Lake Lanier ghosts are friendly. Burning sage may help deter the more malevolent spirits from interfering with your fun in the sun.

3. Sage isn't a guarantee, and the Lake Lanier ghosts love creating more ghosts by dragging people under, so you should always wear floaties while swimming. You can get the ones shown above at: https://www.gofloats.com/products/ww-america.

Go have some fun and stay safe out there. If you've got a good Gwinnett ghost story, we'd love to sit down for an interview.
