Barnes and Noble Promoting Horse Wellness

Barnes and Noble on Webb Gin has unveiled a new "Save a Horse" campaign, which will apparently be funded through sales of cowboy-themed romance novels.

When you think about it, horses do have it pretty rough. They have to run races, pull carriages, work on farms, and there's always the looming threat of the glue factory, so we applaud Barnes and Noble's efforts to give them a break. Why ride horses, when there are so many other options?

And not only is B and N raising awareness for equestrian issues, they're also doing their part to promote the culinary arts, as evidenced by the numerous spice indicators shown below, so whether you're feeling inspired to save a horse or add some seasoning to your literary diet, Barnes and Noble has you covered.
