Lawrenceville Neighborhood Really Embracing the Murder Theme

If you've ever driven by The Collections at Wolf Creek on Duluth Highway, and thought "what a killer name for a neighborhood", you are not alone.

Maybe you're a fan of the 2012 movie The Collection, which is a sequel to the 2009 movie The Collector, not to be confused with the 1965 movie The Collector, which was based on the 1963 book The Collector, all of which feature various levels of kidnapping and murder.

Or maybe you're a fan of the 2005 movie Wolf Creek, an ultra-violent film loosely based on some murders that occurred in Outback (Australia, not the restaurant).

Or maybe, you noticed that the only road in The Collections at Wolf Creek besides Collections Drive is named Lucan Lane.

That's right, and we're guessing it was named in honor of John Bingham, 7th Earl of Lucan, who was famously accused of murdering his children's nanny in 1974 and attempting to murder his wife. Bingham disappeared immediately and was ultimately declared dead in 1999 in absentia, though he has been purportedly sighted around the globe.

Who knows, he may even be living in ... The Collections at Wolf Creek.
