Under normal circumstances, we only report on matters of Gwinnetian concern, or at least those that are Gwinnett adjacent. These, however, are not normal circumstances, so we must call your attention to an egregious display of tyranny that recently occurred in Louisiana.
Four upstanding young men recently did nothing more than conduct a shopping excursion at their local Walmart in that most American of ways, on horseback, and were they allowed to conduct their affairs in peace, you ask? Were they perhaps applauded for preserving a way of life integral to the very fabric of our nation's history? Nay, in fact, they were all arrested and charged with a laundry list of crimes ranging from "remaining after forbidden" to "unlawful post of criminal activity" to "disturbing the peace". One even protested that the horse was his emotional support animal, but his pleas fell upon the deaf ears of law enforcement.
My fellow Gwinnetians, this is a bridge too far. At some point, we have to draw a line in the sand, and this is where I draw that line. When the government has reached the point that it will arrest a man for simply riding his own horse through a Walmart, that government has become destructive to the good of the people. For more details on this shocking curtailment of liberty and erosion of the very bedrock of our democracy, visit our friends at Fox5 for the complete report.

Keep it classy, Gwinnett. This is not a political forum, nor is it place for intolerance or crude behavior of any sort. We are all in this together, so just enjoy the ride.
