Gwinnetians looking for something to do during the afternoon commute should perhaps consider recreating a scene from Smokey and the Bandit. As seen in the movie still above, after leaving the US 76 truck stop (which is now the Pleasant Hill Best Buy), Bandit speeds off down the 85 North exit ramp from Pleasant Hill Road.
As you can see, not much has changed, so you can easily follow the Bandit's path to alleviate some of the traffic boredom during rush hour. Bonus points if you do it in a Pontiac Firebird, though we recommend keeping your speed a little less than the Bandit's to avoid any unwelcome attention from the authorities.
