This just in from the sports desk: Gwinnetians far and wide will be pleased to know that the Atlanta Gladiators, formerly known as the Gwinnett Gladiators, formerly and inexplicably known as the Mobile Mysticks, are not actually in last place. We are thrilled to report that they have moved past the last-place Savannah Ghost Pirates and have the opportunity to further distance themselves from the bottom during a crucial two-game homestand this weekend at Gas South Arena in Duluth, where they'll take on the number two South Carolina Stingrays.
We asked The Man On The Street for his thoughts about their chances and he responded, "I was not aware that we had a hockey team."
